Mainland x Vans on Versa

This is the noted second collaboration of Vans and Mainland Skate & Surf. Amongst the many sneaker models of Vans, it was the Vans Versa which was chosen to be the perfect silhouette for this. This particular shoe design will be released with only 400 pairs that is set on June 15.

It is composed of black leather that covers the toe box along with a durable, texture material that is utilized predominantly for the uppers. It has blue stitches to give a nice contrast and accentuate the entire shoe. Its tongue is in dark grey color in nubuck leather that is perforated.

It comes with a reflective heel that adds up some additional flair to the collaboration of this sneaker. Would you want to have one of these classic, collaborative shoes of Vans? Do you see yourself wearing these? If so, then you can grab a pair at Mainland when it is released!

Vans Authentic Hemp Pack

After the two sneakers that were introduced for the Vans Authentic Hemp Pack during the early parts of March, they will again introduce an additional for the fall of 2010. This specific Hemp Pack will have four sneakers instead in four brand new Authentic colors as well. This is in comparison to the first two sneakers released in the first pack.

Each sneaker pair for this pack has of course its usual base of 100% hemp texture which also has an off-white inner lining. But that is the part where the difference start. Each of the pairs has varying styles of the vulcanized rubber sole color and it utilizes shoelaces in monochromatic tones. All these except for the blue-khaki combination. Other colors would include the black, desert palm and the grey-charcoal one.

Which of these colorways would you prefer? This is definitely such a great catch to look forward to especially for all those Vans fans out there.

Vans Palm Print Pack

After Vans introduced their Vans Tuff Tech Pack, here is now a great preview for their yet another sneaker pack called the Palm Print pack. The name states it all.

This Authentic model has a red canvas base with some palm tree print seen all throughout its upper in white and blue. And when it comes to the Era model, it has a purple canvas with some palm tree prints of white, black and blue. What remains to be the constant parts in both models would be the traditional rubber sole that is white and vulcanized, its white lace and the white inner lining.

This is truly an ideal way to relate Vans to the coming summer season. It is perfect to be worn with any casual and light outfit especially if you are going to the beach or you are just heading for a walk in the park. What do you think of these?

Vans Tuff Tech Pack

To make skating sneakers more durable and can really last a long time, special skate-inspired materials have been included in making such sneakers. Supra was one of the brands who tried this method by applying such TUF technology to their Skytop, the Vaider and the TK Society.

Now, Vans also tried to implement such skate-ready characteristics on some of their shoes through this Tuff Tech Pack. The Vans Tuff Tech Pack is made of three rare models which include the Rowley 99, the TNT II Mid Cup and the Versa. Vans also added a 3M reflective design with some bright, contrast laces to every model.

The Versa has some green laces, the Rowley 99 with some yellow laces and the TNT II Mid Cup in blue laces. They are all finished in white, vulcanized rubber sole. You should really look forward to having these pairs soon as they hit the retailers’ shops soon.

Deluxe and Vans Collab

Are you a fan of VANS and the ever classic design of chukka? If you are, then you would feel great learning about this brand new collaboration. Deluxe and Vans are definitely not strangers to each other. They have recently collaborated on an Authentic. And what is even greater is that they followed its style after the Chukka Boot for this Fall.

Its upper part is made up of mock croc skin in black colorway. It gives out a luxurious appeal with its laces even waxed and it sits on a white vulcanized sole. It comes also with a rubber cap in white which can be considered as not the usual feature for a model of Vans sneakers. It has a large label that appears on the tongue portion with both of the company’s brand names displayed proudly.

Would you consider purchasing these shoes? It is also perfect for both casual and a night out affair.

Vans Custom Culture Event

If you love what you are seeing, you would actually enjoy it even more if you are personally there on this special event at Orange county. Vans invited 10 winning highschools for a weekend at Southern California to take part and show their talents in customizing Vans shoes. It would be interesting to see these days teenagers’ creativity with different amazing designs and concepts. And the winning school was awarded $10,000 for their arts program. They always say that Vans is widely considered one of the more community-involved brands in the country and now I know exactly why. Take a peek of some of the creations from the said event. Enjoy!
