Grrr, my husband is stationed in Iraq and is getting frustrated looking for a size 9 and like most we cannot locate a pair. Nike should have a trailers of these boots they are so popular with the military! Come on Nike, give our military some comfort while they are fighting for your freedom and for the company to continue making more money! Hey, while you're at it, how about a discount too, betchya Michael Jordan would also agree it's a great idea! Ask him!

These boots are approved by AR 670-1. I know only because I wear them and the Oakley boots. Both boots are good, the Nike boot is way better on the feet! My first pair lasted about six months, I think it was just a defect. Second pair has lasted me all through SFAS with over 100 miles on them!!!

I am currently in Afghanistan, Jim your an idiot, these boots are the product us Infantrymen have been begging for. Its a shame that all the normal boot sizes get snagged up by the POG's. AR 670-1 can kiss my rear, because all in all my feet are what make me my money. Buy these boots and tell everyone you know to request them. Maybe they will catch the hint and start making more.

Yesterday I found a sz 8 for my daughter. She leaves for Airborne school in 2 wks and I really lucked out. Want you all to know what I did. I started calling big city Nike stores and asking what they had available. I ended up finding a display pair at the downtown Chicago store and they let me purchase them. So start calling and good luck.

Good luck finding a pair. It seems every vendor (including Nike) is out of most sizes. You can get a size 7 or 12-15 and that is about it. If somebody could post a suggestion it would be appreciated.

My brother is currently in Afghanistan and swears by these boots. He's recommending them to a group of my friends that are deploying in the next few months. If the 101st is allowing them in Afghanistan than I'm sure other units will use their own disgression in whether or not they will allow their deploying soldiers to wear them. It really just depends on the unit and the mission. Kudos to Nike for making a boot that makes our soldiers more comfortable during their missions.
