Nike SB Dunk Low x Melbourne - Gold Rail

Nike SB Dunk Low x Melbourne - Gold Rail - #1

If you live in Melbourne, Australia, you have a Nike exclusive heading your way. In October, Nike will release these Nike SB Dunk Lows only in select retail shops within the city of Melbourne. These shoes will pay tribute to the growing skating culture that is being seen in Australia.

The color scheme utilizes Varsity Royal Blue in a combination of canvas, suede, and mesh that gives them a unique texture and appeal. The use of Metallic Vegas Gold represents Melbourne’s Finder Street Station and the “Gold Rail” that is one of the more infamous skate spots in Australia. The brown midsole was apparently used to represent the Yarra River that runs through the city, while the blue is inspired by Port Phillip Bay.The thick laces add to the character of the kicks, as does the old school logo on the tongue.
