The Dunk is the starship of Nike’s armada of sneakers. The basic form has been improved upon and developed over the years to reach its present perfection, but the core concept is always the same. In addition, the various powerful features of the shoe are so closely intertwined with the Nike spirit of invincibility that we sometimes suspect the Dunk to be more than a pair of sneakers, but a token of character and vigor.
This colorway keeps the basic style in place, but adds various details of which the most significant is the mouth-watering red of the upper. It is applied with great diligence and attention to detail; as such, it complements the artistic value of the design powerfully.
They’re expected to receive their latest incarnation in July.
