Nike Air Force 1 – Black History Month ‘09
As we all know, February is Black History Month. Don’t think shoe companies also don’t know that fact. As we see with these kicks, this Nike Air Force 1 pair of sneakers is celebrating Black History Month in 2009. Only a select few of these shoes were produced, so if you want to grab a pair your best bet is to keep an eye on eBay.
The colorway features black, red and green. The dark Nike swoosh looks very nice against the dark background. Additionally, the red and green stitching adds a bit of subtle fashion to the mix. Both the tongue and the heel feature smooth looking logos.
These sneakers feature a variety of elements of the African-American culture – including the centennial logo surrounded by 44 stars. 2009 also marks the 100th year anniversary of the NAACP’s existence. Via The 305.
