This past weekend, Saturday to be exact, was the 2011 Kixpo and it was hosted in Arlington Texas. There is not a ton to say about this post because as the saying goes… a picture says 1000 words. All I will say is… for those of us that have an unhealthy love for sneakers, you’re gonna need something to help clean up all the drool once you finish looking at the heat in the pictures below. I know it has been too long since you have seen a post of a pair of custom sneaker heat, but I am here to say sorry and assure that such long absences are a thing of the past. Here I bring you a pair of custom Air Jordan 6 “cement” sneakers. I have taken a lot of heat over the years for my lack of support and interest in AJ6s, but I have to say this is the first pair of 6s I’d actually pay for and wear. Although I am not a lady, it is quite inspiring to see our sneakerhead ladies holding it down when it comes to rocking their favorite sneaker of choice. The only time I remember wanting to express my support for a particular footwear product on my body was when I was in elementary school back in the early 90s and I had to have that signature Nike logo in my haircut. We keep on seeing a lot of pairs that were made by Ronnie Fieg through his use of amazing colors and a high sense of design. To give him a break for all his good work, Sneaker Freaker made a collaboration with Asics to come up with latest collaborative pack that is called Sneaker Freaker x Asics Gel Lyte III Alvin Purple. It took its name from an old 1973 Australian comedy film.

It is made out of various colors of purple, black, white, grey and purple. It has the infused Gel Lyte III and this was first seen on the totally crazy 3 dimensional cover of the 18^th issue of the Sneaker Freaker magazine in April. Its limited collection of 276 pairs was launched last September of this year. We will still keep you updated with all the news that would come for this shoe line from Asics. We are sure that you just cannot wait to hear more!

You might not believe that the designer of these shoes is an 11 year old by the name of Tony Signorelli. He is from the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. With the guidance and help of the professional designing team of Nike, his design for this Nike Air Force One certainly came to life. He picked two blazing color tones set in team orange and sport red. This covers the predominant colors of the uppers of the shoe.

Sport red is utilized on the mudguard, the midsection and throughout the heels whereas the tongue and toe box were done with the team orange shade. On its toe box, you see an interesting and illusive laser graphic design that sets a caption. For the right shoe, you will see Think Positive while on the left one, you will see Positive Happens. This is one true amazing piece from Tony Signorelli along with his Nike mentors.

One of the things that have really been successful when it comes to the sneaker world would be the blogs like ours. One of the most popular ones would be Nice Kicks. They have also made some collaborations with other sneaker brands in the industry and with that, we will see here a similar thing done with Nice Kicks. This is the brand new collaborative work called the Nice Kicks x Asics Gel Lyte III 2.0.

This is their first time that they have participated with a very strong collaboration and it really looks like they have done a good job. These are just the preview picks that we can see but it really looks cool. We are sure it will hit great sales when it hits the market and it finally gets released. A good example of this would be what a custom sneaker designer by the name of Emmanuelabor did on a pair of Air Jordan 4 as he turns the pages of Michael Jordan’s NBA life and brings it all back to this amazing creation.

With this Air Jordan 4 customized shoe, the concept is clear that Michael Jordan is a true game winner especially with the graphic captured on the heel.
