This is the latest collaborative project done by Converse and Gorillaz. You would surely love the feeling of picking up any of these two pairs especially if you are a fan of both the band the Gorillaz and the Converse brand as well. The first is set in the unique camo design while the other is in black and white but has the camo too on the sockliner.

This collaborative shoe pair is just perfect to describe a mix of rebelliousness and refinement too. Watanabe has always been known for its very sophisticated works that are such classics in time. These shoes are perfect for those who show a little sensibility even when it comes to footwear.

Converse has released some of the official images of their footwear collection set for the spring and summer season of this year. Its goal is to celebrate the position of the brand as one modern icon and to also pay tribute to the season of sun and sand. It comes with a wide range of Converse styles with the All Star in seasonal interesting colors plus the rest of the old school Converse models.

Converse is not always your brand when it comes to classy pairs of shoes. This is because it has become as somehow synonymous to the Chuck Taylor model. It is usually often found to be worn by the younger generations or the emo class. Its knee lace high cuts are very outlandish with paint stains and some scribbles that have put light years of separation in between the yesteryears of Converse. This brand will always serve to be the patriarch of all modern sports shoes.

The Chuck Taylor has always been around for a lot of times. It is most often that fans go for the Converse Classic but still they get to make things right by finding a way to innovate designs. It is dubbed as how it is called because of its apparent green wash of color for its uppers with some purple lining too and its soles in green. Joining the Ox series, here comes a Jack Purell that takes its form in leather ox. It looks like some dragon scales but what was used on its uppers are some premium croc skins. It scales down its sizes from its heel to its vamp. It has white for contrast seen on the rubber toecap and the sole as well. It has a red smile on its front which is a sign of the Happy Chinese New Year.

Converse did not allow the rest of the sneaker brands to leave them behind when it comes to the Chinese New Year designs. This is set in their One Star Classic 74 II Ox which is made out bright red suede material and has embossed dragon detail. It has accents of black for its leather interior  and some off white for its outersole. It also implements some final touches on it.

One of the modern releases of the Converse First String line would be the Jack Purcell Johnny Hi. It gets a stateside release just right before the year ends. This is a hi top sneaker pair that is built on the classic model of Jack Purcell which utilizes the classic toe cap and adds subtle variations right on its uppers. It also has a black version that comes with tonal chambray and suede material for the uppers too. The white version on the other hand called the Parchment has tonal suede and canvas.

The rising brand of Vanquish is boosted with the numerous collaborative projects that they have gotten highly involved with. It was featured in major catalogs over the previous year which included already Fragment and Adidas. It is run by Ryo Ishikawa and they are looking forward to continue the success streak by 2012 as they work with Converse this time around.

It comes with three versions using the Skidgrip VQ model with black leather for its uppers and some suede at the top. It has synthetic patent right on the medial side and the tongue plus the quilted pattern on its lateral side. It has metal studs on its eyelets too plus the leopard print insole.
