Vans Half Cab Pro Jordan
Another edition of the Vans Half Cab Pro is out. This time in the colorway of the Jordan IV. This black/red/grey shoe is sure to please skaters and non-skaters alike.
You can grab these from kcdcskateshop.com for just $65. The Half Cab is one of their most popular models. And though we have seen Vans put out a lot of colorways of these shoes in the last year, these should be a hit because of the Jordan color influence. Via Complex.

Vans has collaborated with high fashion designer Paul Smith to create this new pack featuring a Sk8 Hi and a Chukka.
The Sk8 Hi is comprised of brown suede and canvas, and of course features the signature multi-color striped pattern. It is used in the inner lining, on the back of the heel, and on the tongue tags in both these shoes. Therefore the colors don’t take away from the muted understated quality of this pack.
I’m not really a fan of the Sk8, as it’s a little too drab for me, particularly because it’s releasing in Spring. If this was a winter shoe, I might actually like it. However this pack is being released as part of the Vans Spring ‘08 collection.
The Chukka is all grey canvas, so it’s still rather simple in style. However, I like it more than the Sk8. Grey shoes are really in fashion right now and I think this one will be more popular. Pictures via Footurama.

Vans has teamed up with Japanese store United Arrows once again, this time to create the Vans Mountain Edition SP. These shoes come in two colorways - metallic gold and silver.
Unlike most other sneakers, these use the primary color throughout the entire shoe, except for the label in black on the gold shoes and in white on the silver. Though these kicks are shiny and unique, I find them too plain. A contrasting color for the toe area would have broken up the lines of the shoe for a better look.
They are priced at 15540 yen at Zozo, which is about $140 USD.

Vans has done another collaboration with Neckface out of NYC. The AV SK8 Lo is the latest project with some pretty interesting artwork on the upper of the shoe. The upper has leather and canvas material with the artwork on the canvas parts. The art strikes me as different and yet scary at the same time. All around it is not a bad looking shoe. There is no release date but we will keep you posted.

The Vans sneaker company has recently released its Half Cab “Camo” pack at select Vans retailers; they are being sold at about $64.99 per pair. These Half Cab’s have a padded tongue, as well as a cushioned insole…. unlike normal Van Half Cab’s.
So whether you are looking for a shoe that is a bit different than the norm in various ways, or you want a comfortable pair of kicks for an excursion in the great outdoors….. these sneaks will do the job. There are more pictures of a few of the other shoes in this pack. Enjoy!
