Nike Air Max Light “Mexican Blanket”

Nike Air Max Light “Mexican Blanket”

The latest to hit stores it the Nike Air Max Light seen above. Called the “Mexican Blanket” this Nike shoe features colors and stitching typically found on a Mexican Blanket. The colorway is limited and also has some patent & perforated leather, along with some stingray material.  The white draws it all of the different colors and materials together giving it a nice solid look. I definitely don’t mind the look and I give Nike a nod on this one.

Nike China 1984 Olympics Pack

Nike China 1984 Olympics Pack

The Nike China 1984 Olympics Pack consists of six shoes commemorating the 1984 China Olympic Games.

Included in this pack are Blazer Low, Wildwood 90 Free Trail, Court Force High, Dunk Trainer High, Vintage Nylon Cortez and Air Max 1.

Each shoe features interesting details including Chinese lettering, along with a variety of textures, colors and patterns. My favorite of the group is the Court Force High pictured above. However, the Wildwood is also another interesting choice.

These sneakers are available at Tier 0 accounts and can be found at Undefeated stores in Los Angeles and Santa Monica beginning on Saturday, February 23rd.

Nike Air Max STAT 360 2008 All Star West: Amare Stoudemire

Amare Stoudemire

More great shoes keep rolling out for the NBA All Star game. This one is one of my favorites. Amare Stoudemire, who will be playing for the West will be wearing his signature shoe, the Nike Air Max STAT 360.

This version features white, metallic gold and red in a very impressive looking shoe. The perforated white leather against the shiny gold looks very good. Embedded on the liner is Still I Rise,” along with a pebbled leather upper with icons and phrases known to Amare. This shoe releases on Friday, February 15th at select Nike retailers. The All-Star game will be played on Sunday in New Orleans.

Nike “Houndstooth” Pack

Nike “Houndstooth” Pack

Nike “Houndstooth” Pack features three different shoes - the Air Max 90, Air Max 95 and Air Max 360.

All three shoes feature the grey and white houndstooth pattern with simple shades of grey and beige accented by royal blue. Though I’m not against the houndstooth fabric being used here, the royal blue makes this pack look cheap and outdated.

There are no major details about these shoes right now. But if you love them, ask your local Nike retailer because they should be available soon. Via Sneaker Freaker.

Nike Air Max 1 - Friendly Football Pack

Nike Air Max 1 - Friendly Football Pack

The Nike Air Max 1 Friendly Football Pack comes in three different colorways. The Nike Air Max 1 Friendly Football White has a mostly white look but it also has enough other colors to spice up the look. The orange and blue are both bright and the Nike swoosh in white against the grey background works rather nicely.

The Nike Air Max 1 Friendly Football Thunder Camo is a mostly black shoe with a couple tones and textures of black. There is also some varsity red and varsity blue that’s thrown into the mix, mostly around the ankles. Finally, the Nike Air Max 1 Friendly Football Brazil comes in true Brazil colors. The yellow and the green stand out attractively against the black background.

You can get each shoe in this pack at the Purchaze website.

Nike Air Max - Spring 2008 Collection

Nike Air Max - Spring 2008 Collection

Sneaker News provides a sneak peek of four Nike Air Max shoes from the Spring 2008 collection.

There are three Air Max 1’s and an Air Max 90 in the group.  The Air Max 1’s offer a perforated mesh toe box. All the shoes combine a variety of fabrics, including suede, smooth leather and patterned/embossed leathers.

For a slick looking shoe, select the white/cement/grey Air Max 1. This shoe looks great and features touches of red and black. I really love the grey suede in the middle of the shoe.

Another nice combination is the brown/white colorway of the Air Max 1. This shoe offers several shades of brown combined to created a very good looking shoe. This is the most subtle of the four shoes here, but I think it’s the best looking.

The third Air Max 1 is a little more funky. The use of black against the red and blue is nice and the white Swoosh really stands out.

The Air Max 90 in the set features a black/blue/white combination that is sure to please 90 fans. I’m not a fan of this shoe, but the red laces are a nice touch.

Nike Euro “Neon Pack”

Nike Euro “Neon Pack”

Nike just dropped the “Neon Pack” in Europe.

This pack is comprised of three shoes - an Air Max 90, Air Trainer 1 and Nike Shox NZ. All the shoes in the pack feature black, white, mesh and neon green accents. This is a color combination that has worked well for Nike in the past, and some sneakerheads might consider it a classic.

For a modern touch, both the Air Max 90 and Shox NZ have a touch of patent leather, which gives these shoes some shine.  The pack is available right now in Europe, but there’s no word whether it will get released in other locations as well.

Check on the next pages for lots of pictures of all three sneakers, courtesy of The Shoe Game.
