Air Jordan Retro 8 Dark Cinder Low

Air Jordan Retro 8 Dark Cinder Low

The new Air Jordan Retro 8 Dark Cinder Low for women is set for release on December 22nd.

These sneakers for the ladies feature a Dark Cinder/Champagne/Sail colorway that is very pleasing to the eye. The shoe combines embossed and smooth brown leather with just hints of champagne pink.

Recently, the combination of brown and pink has become popular in other women’s fashions, as well as a trendy wedding color combination. Now Air Jordan is using this similar colors in these shoes.

The Air Jordan Retro 8 Cinder Low are expected to retail for $110.

Air Jordan Retro 8 LS White/Anthracite Dark Orange Release

Air Jordan Retro 8 LS

This post is just to serve as a reminder that the Air Jordan Retro 8 LS White/Anthracite Dark Orange was released today.

Though the Jordan 8 is very clunky and chunky in my opinion, it is sure to continue as a big seller. The criss cross straps and extra padding insure great fit and support, but many players feel like these shoes are too hot and heavy.

This colorway is sure to please many people, as the combination of white and anthracite is very nice. These shoes are going for $149.99 at most places, but research before you buy.  Some retailers are selling them for as low as $139, such as UpTempoAir.com, while others are overpricing them at over $200.

Air Jordan 2 Retro Doernbecher

Air Jordan 2 Retro Doernbecher

The  Air Jordan 2 Retro Doernbecher were released on Friday, November 9th. Remember these shoes are part of a special promotion that allows ill children the opportunity to design a sneaker. This has been done several times in recent years by Nike, however this is the first time it has been introduced by the Jordan line.

Keep in mind that this is a charity shoe and all the proceeds from the shoes will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. Though you can’t see it on the picture, the child’s favorite Bible verse from Proverbs is featured on the tongue.

The price is $140 and these shoes are limited.  Right now they may only be available in Oregon Nike stores, but they should be on Nike.com soon.

Air Jordan 5 x Nike Air Force One “Fire Red”

Air Jordan 5 x Nike Air Force One “Fire Red”

There is still much controversy regarding the above pair of Air Jordan 5s fused with a Nike Air Force One. If you haven’t seen these yet I am sure you can see the Jordan Fire Red and the Nike influence in the shoe. With no release date out many are hoping that this pair of Nike shoes will be scrapped. Although I have never been a huge Jordan fan, these are actually a pretty solid pair of shoes and don’t look bad at all. There is also word that these will come “pre-creased”,  a nice feature. Many are talking about the strap needing to be removed and that an AF1 should never be mixed with an Air Jordan shoe. What do you think?
