Adidas Green Star in Purple

Adidas Green Star in Purple

Adidas is adding some hot new colorways in premium materials to their Consortium series. This purple Green star is a great example of how a simple shoe style can come alive with the right colors.

This bright purple shoe looks great with its stark white strips and white midsole. These shoes are versatile enough to wear with even the most neutral outfit. I’m not usually a fan of purples sneaks, but for this shoe I make an exception.

These sneakers will be released by Undefeated Japan on February 9th. Via High Snobiety.

Adidas Conductor Hi “Olympic 1988″

Adidas Conductor Hi Olympic 1988

If you are looking for some classic kicks with an Olympic twist, check out these Adidas Conductor Hi’s. Debuted in 1987, these shoes were made for the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.

The oversized tongue on these shoes is a look that is definitely hot right now. While the shoes have a simple colorway, the kicks are spiced up with images related to the Olympics. The basic look of the shoe is what you would expect from a pair of Adidas from the late 1980’s. During this time frame, Patrick Ewing of the NBA’s New York Knicks used to play in kicks very similar to these.

For about $155, you can order a pair from Overkill.

The sneaker is presented in a unique box set that includes a belt, belt buckle, cleaning kit and more. The box and accessories feature the same colors.

With a price tag of 350 euros, this is a luxury shoe. But I’m sure Micropacer fans are willing to shell out the cash.

Look for this clean, rich looking shoe from select Adidas retailers.

Adidas Consortium Decade Low Money

Adidas Consortium

Several new shoes are being released in the Adidas Consortium series this month, including the Adidas Consortium Decade Low Money pictured here.

This shoe features gold metallic leather combined with orange suede in one impressive looking shoe. Though they may be too gaudy for some, these sneakers are sure to please some Adidas enthusiasts.

These shoes, along with several other new Adidas Consortium sneakers, are available right now at Kix Files. This pair is priced at $145 and they are in limited edition - only 400 pairs available worldwide this month.

Check on the next page for pictures of other Adidas Consortium shoes, including the blue and white Consortium Forum Hi Money. This hi-top features dollar bills in a blue shade all over the white shoe. The Hi is priced at $190. I’m not fond of this shoe at all and think it would look much better in darker shades.

Also available is the Consortium Kegler Super Lux ($190). This rich looking shoe features brown leather, suede and ostrich leather combined in a luxurious low sneaker that can double as a dress shoe.

Adidas NBA Campus

Adidas NBA Campus Lakers

Adidas is releasing the new NBA Campus models for several NBA teams. These shoes feature the team colors and logos.

This new set, which will be released tomorrow, November 3rd, features the Lakers (pictured above), Heat, Bulls, Cavaliers, Celtics, Pistons and Spurs.

If you are fan of one of these teams, it’s cool to get a pair of these sneakers. I have to comment that the Spurs shoe really looks horrible compared to last year’s model. You’d think the NBA Champions would get a slightly improved shoe.

Nevertheless, if you are an NBA fan these shoes are a nice buy. The Heat and Lakers versions look especially good with their shiny patent. I’m also a fan of the black Bulls shoe.

Thanks to vicjames615 on the ISSforums for the pictures.

Adidas “Jam Master Jay”

Adidas “Jam Master Jay”

The 5th anniversary of the death of DJ Jam Master Jay was yesterday. He was a strong follower of Adidas during his life and in tribute to him Adidas has designed some sneakers. There will be three Brougham JMJ’s and an Adidas Ultrastar released in conjunction with the J.A.M Awards on November 29. The benefit concert focuses on the social responsibility the rap has and is a good way to pay homage to this legendary DJ. All four pairs will be dropped at Footaction stores only at the end of November.

Adidas Questar Spider-Animal Pack

Adidas Questar Spider-Animal Pack

Adidas has been slowing releasing kicks from their Animal pack. Here is the Adidas Questar Spider, not really an animal but part of the pack nonetheless. The shoe is done in all black with spider web detail all over and a scary spider on the side panel. Not a bad pair of shoes from Adidas, they have a lot of detail but are still kept simple. These are out now just in time for Halloween.
