The Air Jordan 2 Retro Doernbecher were released on Friday, November 9th. Remember these shoes are part of a special promotion that allows ill children the opportunity to design a sneaker. This has been done several times in recent years by Nike, however this is the first time it has been introduced by the Jordan line.
Keep in mind that this is a charity shoe and all the proceeds from the shoes will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. Though you can’t see it on the picture, the child’s favorite Bible verse from Proverbs is featured on the tongue.
The price is $140 and these shoes are limited. Right now they may only be available in Oregon Nike stores, but they should be on Nike.com soon.
