The Air Jordan 9 would probably be the most interesting but also significant Jordans amongst all of the AJs ever made. A lot of people might actually be wondering why? Well, the AJ9 best represents Michael Jordan through words written on the shoes in different languages that in essence describes his sporting spirit and what he has carried out for the world of sports. It was in 1993 when the very first Jordan 9 was initially released and just like the Air Jordans VII and VIII, the Air Jordan IX featured the inner sock sleeve as well as the nubuck accents. It has also been the sneakers selected to adorn Jordan’s feet for his statue outside of the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
