The Air Jordan 8 which was in fact the final Jordan that Mike wore prior to his very first retirement was initially released in 1992-1993. It was the incredibly the first Jordans that did not have the NIke sign.Tinker Hatfield was confident that the Jordan brand was already solid enough to stand on its own.
