The Air Jordan 8 which was in fact the final Jordan that Mike wore prior to his very first retirement was initially released in 1992-1993. It was the incredibly the first Jordans that did not have the NIke sign.Tinker Hatfield was confident that the Jordan brand was already solid enough to stand on its own. And then it happened… The original Jordan VIII had no Nike sign.
There are loads of fluctuations for the Jordan 8s during that time. People have been pleased about the colorways but one of the depressing features about the shoe was they were much less comfortable compared with the other Air Jordans. The “bunny ears” which pertains to the crossover straps in fact made the kicks tight on the sides. Other features incorporate zoom air sole, huarache inner sleeve and durabuck uppers.
