It was in the 1997-1998 when the Air Jordan XIII was initially released. It was also the same season when Michael Jordan last played for the Chicago Bulls. Tinker Hatfield once again found yet another inspiration for the new Air Jordan model and this time it was from the “Black Cat or Panther”. The bottoms as well as the sole has a resemblance to the pads on a panthers paw. Also the sides around the upper are rough as being a panthers cheeks looking at the whiskers. The last queue from the panther would be the hologram around the back of the footwear which mimics a panther’s eyes while in the dark whenever light is actually shined at them.
The Air Jordan 13 was the very first Jordan shoe to be manufactured in China instead of Taiwan and was replicated to non-stop. There was a sizable amount of fake Jordan 13s that arrive at the streets in just about every awful color mix you can possibly imagine.
