adidas x Gabriel Urist - All-Star 2008 TS Pro Model
Adidas REMIX has teamed up with New York City-based jeweler, Gabriel Urist, to create the Team Signature Pro Model for the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.
This shoe uses very neutral tones complemented with gold accents and wood grain like trim. On the ankle collar is a satin Asian print.
Urist’s “GU” initials are embroidered near the rear of the shoe. A pair of gold lace clips of “love” and “war” are added to each shoe.
I really love the use of perforate leather along with the mesh throughout these shoes. These will be sold at $110 a pair in limited release in New Orleans over All-Star Weekend (February 14-17) with only 200 pairs available. An additional 400 pairs will be sold in Asia later in the year.
